1.Students should arrive at the school at least ten minutes before the Assembly. Soon after the assembly bell, the school gate will be closed and the late comers return home at the risk of the parents /guardians.

No one who has been absent or late may be admitted to class without Principal’s permission.

Those who are absent on the opening day after each vacation will be fined Rs.15/-per day & Rs. 10/- for those who absent themselves without leave letter on rest of the days.

2. No leave of absence is granted without a previous application in writing from the guardian.

3. If any unauthorized absence exceeds fifteen calendar days, the defaulter’s name will be struck off the rolls and considered withdrawn.

4. St. Francis students should behave in a gentlemanly manner on their way to and from school. They are reminded that the school is judged by their conduct.

5. English shall be spoken at all times in the premises by the students and teachers.

6. Students shall take good care of their books and personal belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil’s name, admission number and class.

7. The school is not responsible for goods lost. We discourage children from wearing ornaments and from bringing any expensive article to school.

8. School diary should be brought to the school daily. Magazines, Newspapers, etc. are not to be brought to the school.

9. All children are expected to bring the tiffin with them for the noon recess.

10. Any damage done to the school property should be made good by the pupil concerned.

11. Students shall not offer gifts or presents to their teachers.

12. Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or to visit teachers or to enter the school veranda during school hours.

13. All home works should be done neatly and the day’s work always dated.

14. All the students are expected to take an active part in all co- curricular activities.

15. Students should treat others respectfully and are responsible for other’s good name. Calling nick name, spreading rumours, etc. are strictly forbidden.

16. No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours or recess without the explicit permission of the Principal/ Vice Principal. No child will be sent home even if any urgent need arises, unless a duly authorized person comes to fetch him/her with a note of authority from the parents.


St. Francis School believes in the sacred responsibility of inculcating in the young pupils a sense of neatness and cleanliness. The students have to come to school neatly dressed in their school uniform prescribed by the school.

17. Wearing of uniform at the school every day is compulsory. Children should, therefore, be provided with sufficient sets of uniforms.

18. Personal cleanliness is very essential. The fingernail should be trimmed, and the shoes polished, time to time.

19. A student who is not properly dressed and groomed may be excluded from the class.

20. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Parents are requested to see that their children leave their homes in well- ironed school uniform, hair combed, shoes polished etc.


21. A child to be admitted to L.K.G. should be of minimum three years and six months old. An interaction of the child together with his/her parents is required prior to the admission.A valid Birth Certificate from the Municipality or Panchayath is to be submitted at the time of admission.

22. Guardians are asked to fill in the admission form with utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted thereafter for any reason whatsoever.


23. There are three major examinations in a year, i.e., Quarterly, Half yearly and Final besides regular class tests. The pass mark is 40%.

24. Promotions are given on the basis of one year’s work and not merely marks scored in the final examination. Every student must be present for all the three major exams. The average of this is taken at the end of the year. Total aggregate of 40% in each subject is a pre-condition for promotion. Class works and home works are also assessed and awarded.

25. Each student is required to be present for 90% of school days as a pre-condition for promotion.

26. Grades, and not ranks, are given to the children after each examination. No grade will be given if a child has failed or absented in any subject. Answer scripts of Quarterly & Half yearly Examinations will be shown to the guardians. Final examination answer scripts will not be shown.

27. There shall be neither re-test nor re- exam.

28. The result declared at the end of the year is final and cannot be reconsidered. In all questions of promotion or failure, the principal’s decision is final.

29. If a pupil does not pass in all the subjects any concession he/she enjoys will be canceled.

30. Anyone who resorts to unfair means in the examinations will be dismissed instantly.


31. Before withdrawing a student from the school a month’s notice is to be given or a month’s fee in lieu of notice.

32. No school leaving certificate will be issued unless requested in writing by parent and all the dues are cleared.

33. Any pupil failing in two years in succession in the same class or failing twice in three consecutive years will be struck off the roles and cannot continue in the school.

34. Without prior notice to the parents, the Principal reserves to himself the right to dismiss a student, who fails to make satisfactory progress in his/her studies or whose conduct in anyway detrimental to the discipline of the institution, such as immorality, insubordination or contempt, etc.

35. Notwithstanding anything in prospectus, the Principal may at his absolute discretion ask any parent at any time to take his/her ward out of the school.


36. All the fees must be paid by the 15 th of the month for which they are due and may be paid in monthly installments or in advance, failing which a fine will be charged as per fee instructions. Fees once collected will not be refunded.

37. Fees are collected in Andhra Bank, Bagalur from the 1 st to the 15 th of every month from 10.30 a.m to 1.00 p.m. as per bank regulations. Kindly see the instructions given on the fee book.

38. Parents will kindly preserve the fee receipts issued to them for counter-checking by the office.

39. The school reserves its right to revise the fee without prior notice.

40. The fee defaulters may be debarred from examinations and are liable to have their names struck off rolls.
